JUST THE FAQ'S

  • 1) WHY SHOULD CRYSTAL YOUNG BE MY PHOTOGRAPHER?
  • Simply, because you love my style of photography.
  • My style is not for everyone and that is okay. It is important to me that you are happy with my work before you schedule.
  • 2) WHAT TYPES OF SESIONS DO YOU OFFER?
  • Family, Children, Newborn and Seniors to name a few.
  • 3) HOW SOON SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SESSION?
  • I book 3-4 weeks in advance. I book only a limited number of session(s) during each day. This ensures that everyone client and photographer has a great experience during the session.
  • 4) WHEN DO I PAY THE SESSION FEE AND WHAT DOES IT COVER?
  • Full session fee is due when booking your session. This is to reserve the date and time of your session and is non-refundable.
  • The fee pays for the time, talent and creative views of your photographer (before, during and after your session). I am very particular in the way your images are captured and presented from start to finish so my job doesn't end when the session is done. Editing is part of my photography style and it does take time. I want you to have images that you absolutely LOVE.
  • 5) WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY SESSION?
  • I understand that unexpected events are bound to happen, illness, weather, emergencies, etc. If you need to reschedule I do require a 24 hour notice. Your session fee is non-refundable, you may use it for a one-time reschedule (if notified within the 24 hour period) to be scheduled within 6 months from your original session date.
  • 6) DO YOU TRAVEL?
  • Yes, I do travel to local area's only (within a 20 mile radius of the studio) for sessions. I am a mother of two children so while on location they are at a sitter. I prefer to stay local just in case.
  • 7) WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY SESSION?
  • Your images from your session should be ready to view in 14 business days. They will placed in an online gallery to view and order.
  • Please Note:
  • Orders placed 14 days after viewing will be subject to 50% higher pricing. Your online gallery is available for 30 days. There is a $35 fee to extend your gallery for an additional 14 days.
  • 8) IS THERE A MINIMUM PURCHASE REQUIRED?
  • Yes, clients who schedule with me are looking for a certain style of photography, a relaxed and fun setting. I schedule a LIMITED number of sessions each month and having a minimum purchase/print deposit requirement lets clients know that there is an investment both on their part as well as mine.
  • The minimum purchase/print deposit is due at time of session. This is based on the type of session you have scheduled.
  • 9) ONCE I HAVE PLACED MY ORDER WHEN WILL IT BE READY?
  • It generally takes 2-3 weeks to arrive here at the studio depending on the prints and products you have purchased. All sales are final and can not be canceled once your order has been placed.
  • 10) CAN I HAVE MY ITEMS SHIPPED TO ME OR CAN I PICK THEM UP FROM STUDIO?
  • You have both options in your cart when you check out online. Please not that all items come to the studio first for me to view and approve.
  • *If you choose to have your items shipped to you please allow an additional week from the time you place your order.
  • *If you choose studio pickup. Once notified that your order is in please arrange to picked up within one week.
  • 11) WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
  • All major credit cards, cash and check.
